FOUNDER
Greetings! I’m Harsha Govinda Koralearachchi, a seasoned aviator with qualifications as a Theoretical Instructor Pilot endorsed by the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CAA SL) for both aeroplanes and helicopters. Additionally, I hold certification as a Theoretical Instructor Pilot from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
As the founder of Ravana Aviation Academy, I’m dedicated to providing top-notch professional education to aspiring pilots, catering to both local and international students. Alongside aviation education, I’m passionate about introducing aviation archaeology to Sri Lanka.
My journey commenced at Kotelawala Defence University, where I graduated before embarking on a fulfilling tenure as a helicopter pilot in the Sri Lanka Air Force from 1997 to 2008. My pursuit of knowledge led me to attain a postgraduate diploma in archaeology from the University of Kelaniya, followed by a master’s degree in Archaeology from the same esteemed institution.
Notably, I hold the distinction of being a qualified National Tourist Guide Lecturer, a unique accomplishment within the realm of professional aviation.
